There's dancing at Casal Saloio!
As part of the European Heritage Days, the Cascais Countryside Interpretation Center is offering a day of festivities with a hillbilly dance!
The entertainment will include folk dancing, singing, traditional games, jigs and entertainment by groups of "hillbillies". On this day, we will also have rhapsodies of traditional tales and songs, using nursery rhymes and tongue twisters. The inauguration of the Pedagogical Garden, the launch of a book about this cultural facility and the performance of a toccata of hillbilly music round off this day exclusively dedicated to hillbilly culture.
