“The Music of my Life”, recital by OCCO - Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra
In the centenary year of the birth of Joly Braga Santos, the soloists of the OCCO - Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra present “String Quartet No 2”, by the Portuguese composer and conductor.
The recital also includes the work “Da minha Vida”, by Bedřich Smetana. Written in 1876 at a difficult time in Smetana's life due to deafness, the piece was the Czech composer's first autobiographical quartet.
