Photography exhibition | Another way of seeing
This exhibition presents photographic works by volunteers registered with the Cascais Local Volunteer Centre, expressing their interpretation of different areas of volunteer work in the municipality.
Some of these photographs are in relief, with descriptions in Braille and audio descriptions, allowing blind or visually impaired people to appreciate them.
Cascais Municipal Council has been encouraging and supporting Volunteer Promoting Organisations and their volunteer managers to feel more open and confident in welcoming diversity into their institutions, often simply by promoting reasonable changes.
Through this exhibition, Cascais Municipal Council aims to raise awareness among the entire community of the idea that volunteering should be possible and accessible to all people, including those who are usually excluded from this right.
