WHAT I WANT TO TELL YOU: Portraits written by André Pereira
On Portuguese Author's Day, come to the Library and take home a very special souvenir: your portrait written in the form of a poem.
In the @oquetequerodizer project, André writes unique portraits for strangers, sitting at a table with a typewriter. The person who wants a portrait sits across from him. André observes the person and, without exchanging words, writes what he wants to say to them in a poem, typed on a typewriter.
André doesn't know who he is. He has a cat and a dog, even though he no longer has the dog and never had the cat. He writes for theatre, television, and bookstore shelves. He also writes on the street, on a typewriter, and for strangers. André knows what he does, he doesn't know who he is.
