Conference-concert “Music and Science” with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra.
Under the theme “Reinventing Things”, the programme offers a contemporary approach to the work of Antonio Vivaldi, bringing together music, science, creativity, and critical thinking. The repertoire features works by composers such as Enjott Schneider and Max Richter, including Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons, an innovative reinterpretation of one of classical music’s most iconic masterpieces.
More than a concert, this initiative seeks to connect artistic creation with scientific reflection, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue between culture, knowledge, and innovation.
The event is part of a three-part programme by NOVA University Lisbon, with sessions taking place at Mafra National Palace, Nova SBE, and the NOVA Rectory, bringing together different guests and moments of reflection at each session.
