Estoril Political Forum
In June 2026, the Institute of Political Studies at the Portuguese Catholic University will host the 34th edition of its Annual International Conference on Political Studies—the Estoril Political Forum. Dedicated to the theme “Independence in an Interdependent World - Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence,” the Estoril Political Forum will take place from June 1 to 3 at the Hotel Palácio in Estoril.
In addition to distinguished national and international guests, we will once again have the special opportunity to strengthen our international network in Political Studies through our partnership with EUROPAEUM, a consortium of Europe’s oldest universities based in Oxford; EPD – European Partnership for Democracy (Brussels); and the Forum 2000 Foundation (Prague), the National Endowment for Democracy (Washington, D.C.), and Transform4Europe – European University Alliance. We also count on the important partnerships of KAS – Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, AWA – Association of Women Ambassadors, FAM – Amélia de Mello Foundation, and the Polish Embassy in Lisbon.
