Description

The Eklektika Duo presents a musical dialogue marked by cultural diversity and artistic expressiveness. In this recital, the program includes a tribute to Fernando Lopes-Graรงa, marking the 120th anniversary of the birth of one of the central figures of 20th-century Portuguese music.

Combining the solidity of classical tradition with a contemporary and accessible approach, the duo, formed in 2019 by violinist and violist Elena Rojas Crocker and classical guitarist Sรกndor Mester, has been performing in various cultural contexts and collaborating on the creation of music for documentary films and special events. With international careers and a strong connection to the mission of bringing classical music to diverse audiences, Elena and Sรกndor propose a sound experience that traverses different periods and languages โ€‹โ€‹of European music, from Baroque to contemporary.
