Book launch and exhibition “Remnants of the Future”
The launch of the book “Restos de Futuro” (Remains of the Future), written by Ana Melo dos Reis, is supported by the Cascais City Council's Talent Promotion Grant. This book gives voice to forgotten and discarded objects, revealing in a poetic and unsettling way the stories that normally go unnoticed. Through memories, reflections, and narratives of waste, it invites the reader to question the impact of consumption on life and the environment, offering a unique perspective on the relationship between humans and the waste they produce. The launch will be complemented by an exhibition of photographs and texts, which visually translates these stories and will be available to the public until May 15, 2026, providing an immersive experience that combines literature and image to reflect on environmental and social awareness.
