Great Works for Piano Trio, recital by the OCCO - Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra
When Robert Schumann attended the premiere of Mendelssohn's Trio No. 1, where the piano plays a prominent role, he considered the piece a true masterpiece, placing it on par with the great works of Beethoven and Schubert, predicting its enduring success, which has indeed been confirmed.
On the other hand, Clara Schumann wrote in her diary that "there is nothing better than feeling the joy of composing a work and then hearing and performing it." These are two magnificent works, written by great pianists, which will be performed by soloists from the OCCO, with guest pianist Miguel Perdigão.
