Visit to S. Jorge de Oitavos Fort
Description
S. Jorge de Oitavos Fort, a polygonal structure of five equal sizes, supported on the cliff, was built between 1642 and 1648, being the biggest maritime fortification built after the Restoration of Independence (1640).
In this guided visit, get to know the origin, the history, and some secrets of the fort. The activity is directed to everyone, over 5 years old.
