Conference "Cultural Programming: A Policy Far Beyond Taste"
As part of World Dance Day, the D. Luís I Foundation, the Municipality of Cascais, and the Paulo Ribeiro Company are organizing the conference "Cultural Programming: A Policy Far Beyond Taste." The initiative takes place on the last day of the exhibition "Segunda2," an augmented photography project by Joaquim Leal documenting the creative process of the choreographic piece of the same name premiered at the end of 2021, currently exhibited at the Cascais Cultural Center.
The current context, programming in general, dance in particular, how it develops, expands, or confines; the general public, programmers in particular, complicity or divergence, and best practices in cultural dynamics, whether it's a common reality or awareness or a lack thereof, are themes to be addressed by Américo Rodrigues, General Director of the Arts, and choreographers Paulo Ribeiro and Rui Horta. Admission is free.
