Talaíde: History and Memory - Documentary exhibition
This exhibition of documentation from the Cascais Municipal Historical Archive, dedicated to the village of Talaíde, in the parish of São Domingos de Rana, proposes a true journey through the geography, memories, and experiences of a village with centuries-old roots. Through documents, a living archive is constructed that reveals stories, traditions, cultural practices, and ways of life that have shaped the local identity over time.
More than just revisiting the past, this exhibition affirms memory as an essential element of the present and the future, promoting the strengthening of community identity and stimulating social cohesion. It is a meeting between generations, where common heritage is shared, recognized, and kept alive.
