“Object of Seduction,” workshop at the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum
Description
By the 18th century, the fan was already a feminine accessory, but it was in the centuries that followed that it became an object of seduction with its own language, which would facilitate communication between young people and adult couples.
In this activity, we will create a ventarola or a brisé fan using collage or painting—each participant chooses their own approach! And we’ll also learn the language of fans!
Ages 12 to 80 | 5 to 12 participants
