The play “Full Screen” returns to the stage, this time in Estoril, following an intensive run in November 2025 at Teatro da Comuna, where every performance sold out, as well as a stop in Albufeira.
Mário and Ana have been married for 15 years, but routine — and screens — have pushed them into separate worlds. As they wait for a couples therapy session, secrets begin to vibrate, quite literally. Everything they have been hiding is about to implode when the unforgiving truth comes to light… or is it just another notification?
“Full Screen” is a sharp, surprising comedy about our hyperconnected lives, the dictatorship of the digital world, and human relationships lived in multitasking mode. Guided throughout the performance by a relentless and ever-watchful algorithm, Maria Clementina and Miguel Lambertini transform themselves into multiple characters, giving voice and body to the endless stream of app notifications flooding our phones. Blending humour, marital drama, and special musical moments — all in a completely analogue format — the show asks a provocative question: are we truly free, or trapped behind our screens?
