From 6 to 13 June, a variety of events to Celebrate Cascais.
June once again becomes a month of celebration in Cascais. From 6 to 13 June, residents and visitors are invited to Celebrate Cascais and revisit the history and traditions that have shaped the municipality since 7 June 1364, when King Pedro I of Portugal granted municipal status to what was then a fishing village and a retreat for royalty.
Over the course of eight days, Cascais will celebrate its 661st anniversary with a diverse programme of cultural, sporting, heritage and leisure activities, reinforcing the community spirit and unique identity that define the municipality.
