Other points of sale: HERE The piece that gives this concert its title is one of the most recognized works by English composer Vaughan Williams, for violin and orchestra. Written after the reading of a poem of the same name, “The Lark Ascending” allows the composer's favorite instrument to “sing and fly” in a sublime way. To this concert is added a beautiful symphony by the little-known composer Louise Farrenc Dumont and, finally, the program includes a work by Gabriel Fauré, one of the masters of French music.
