On Stage: “Three times” performance on International Museum Day
On International Museum Day, the performance “Três Tempos” puts the value of Freedom into dialog with one of the axes of this May 18 event: Intangible Heritage.
A group of five actors create small, disconcerting and provocative situations that interfere with what can be understood as the “good rules” for visiting an art exhibition.
The first time is presented between 1930 and 1980, with pre- and post-revolution artistic creation, the second time corresponds to the present year 2025 (the now) and the third time is understood as a simulated time during the performance.
The event returns to the exhibition “Assault on the Summer Palace - Collection of the Museum of Neo-Realism”, open until September 14 in the Exhibition Gallery of the Citadel Palace, after a first session on April 27, which gave body and movement to one of the highest values of the 1974 Revolution: Freedom.
