Swim Grand Prix
The Swim Grand Prix Portugal returns on 18 and 19 July 2026 for another edition of one of Portugal's leading open water swimming events. Taking place between Lisbon, Oeiras and Cascais, the event brings together national and international athletes, triathletes, amateur swimmers, first-time participants and young competitors.
Featuring a diverse programme, the competition includes distances for all levels of experience, from the iconic 20 km Lisbon–Cascais Crossing to more accessible races, such as the 1 km event and the KIDS competitions. The 2025 edition welcomed a record 805 participants from 44 nationalities, further strengthening the event's international profile and its role in promoting sport, tourism and the region's coastal heritage.
The Swim Grand Prix Portugal has established itself as a benchmark event in the world of open water swimming, encouraging sporting participation, healthy lifestyles and a strong connection with the sea.
