"Tribute to Benjamin Britten", recital by the OCCO - Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra
A tribute to one of the most important composers of the 20th century, 50 years after his death. Considered the best English composer after Henry Purcell, Benjamin Briten, a child prodigy, grew into a brilliant composer who, with the landscape of his coastal city as his eternal refuge, revolutionized English opera. He was an exceptional performer and considered music as a democratic medium, accessible to all.
