SYNOPSIS
The story takes place in California in the late 1950s and revolves around a couple of students, Danny and Sandy, who fall in love during the summer and promise each other eternal love, despite being separated when Sandy returns to Australia. But their plans change when she decides to enrol at Danny's school. From there, the story takes a new turn, and love between the two begins to blossom, but not before going through some ups and downs. The happy ending of this story wins hearts, while the irreverent humour, typical of youth, makes this plot a classic that spans generations and continues to be acclaimed on stages across the United States.
