Municipal Heritage Routes - April 25th in Cascais: Stories of resistance in the name of Freedom
This guided tour, marking the 52nd anniversary of the April 25, 1974 Revolution and based on the Resistance and Freedom Route in Cascais, will evoke the memory, courage, and humanism experienced in the clandestine houses of the Portuguese Communist Party, where historic meetings took place, daring plans were drawn up, and the most prominent militants found shelter.
The tour will also include other locations in the municipality that witnessed and originated various forms of resilience and struggle for freedom and democracy.
