August in the Neighbourhoods
Promoted by Cascais City Council in partnership with Helpo Association and the Portuguese Red Cross – Costa do Estoril Branch, and in collaboration with the Residents’ Associations of Alcoitão, Adroana, Cruz Vermelha, Zambujal e Rana, and Torre e Cruz da Guia, this project is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 residing in the Municipality of Cascais.
Launched in 2023, August in the Neighbourhoods seeks to promote the physical and emotional well-being of children and young people, encourage healthy lifestyles, foster social interaction and team spirit, develop personal and social skills, and provide opportunities for creative and active leisure through a wide range of activities.
Target audience: Children aged 6 to 12 residing in the Municipality of Cascais.

- Residents’ Associations (Adroana, Alcoitão, Cruz Vermelha, Torre e Cruz da Guia, Zambujal e Rana)
