The Adventures of Afonso - The Moonfish | Tile Painting for Kids
The workshop will be based on the story “The Adventures of Afonso—the Moonfish.” This is a story I wrote to raise children’s awareness of the importance of ocean conservation and the protection of marine life.
The activity will consist of three parts:
- storytelling
- creating a drawing on paper inspired by the part of the story each child likes best
- painting two ceramic tiles, where each participant can give free rein to their creativity.
The tiles will later be included in the exhibition “I Feel More Human Under Water,” allowing the children to see their work on display at the Museu do Mar.
Note:
Activities for children up to 12 years old.
They may take the tiles home on the opening day (November 21, 2026).
All necessary materials will be provided free of charge.
