Pages of Cascais, tour of the Museum Quarter and Visconde da Luz Garden
António José Branquinho da Fonseca, a figure linked to the arts and a pioneer in implementing the concept of an itinerant library in Cascais, was the curator of the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum and one of the names that most contributed to the dynamization of this emblematic space in Cascais. It is from this cultural facility that we revisit “Pages of Cascais”, through a tour of the Museum Quarter and on to the Visconde da Luz Garden.
In this initiative promoted by the Cultural and Educational Service, participants are invited to absorb the literature of authors such as Eça de Queiroz, Ruben A., Fernando Pessoa or Almeida Garrett, in a mobile way, getting to know the true stories of these writers and literary references to the places we pass by, including Casa Sommer, Chalet Leitão, Casa de S. Bernardo, Cascais Bay and the Museu da Vila.
