Guided Tour - A Tile Collection with a Mythological Theme, as part of the European Heritage Days 2024
Casa Verdades de Faria, the former Torre de S. Patrício, designed by the architect Raul Lino in 1918, has a valuable collection of mythology-themed tiles.
As part of the European Heritage Days 2024, we propose a guided tour for families.
Come and discover this integrated heritage, made up of tile panels dating from the end of the 17th century to the middle of the 18th century, which feature various themes from Greco-Roman mythology, including episodes from Ovid's Metamorphoses.
The European Heritage Days 2024 take place between September 20 and 22, under the theme “Routes, Networks and Connections”.
