The Enchanted Forest: Puppet Theatre for Children
The Pandora Company presents a story with an environmental message. However, this is not ecology from the perspective of any particular group of people, valuable though that may be, but rather ecology seen through the eyes of the animals that inhabit our forests. The story follows a group of animals that rise up against greedy and unscrupulous human behaviour, as well as against reckless and irresponsible policies that gradually destroy our shared habitat — for both humans and animals.
The performance aims to inspire children to respect nature, encouraging them to empathise with the animals and to seek a balance between humankind and the environment — a balance that is increasingly fragile in today’s world.
