Launch of the book “Alberto Cruz”
Description
The book “Alberto Cruz” is a reference edition for the municipality of Cascais, where the architect Alberto Pereira da Cruz (1920-1990) left perhaps his greatest mark, signing projects as emblematic as the Baia and Cidadela hotels, the extension and transformation of the Estoril arcades, the extension of the Palácio and Albatroz hotels, the Gandarinha apartments and the Carcavelos and Cascais markets.
The edition, which was coordinated by Bernardo Pizarro Miranda, João Alves da Cunha and Manuel Possolo da Cruz, systematizes the vast work of Alberto Cruz, a major author of Portuguese architecture.
