Exhibition: Diversity of Caterpillar Masks
The caterpillar is the second phase of the life cycle of butterflies and its body is divided into head, chest and abdomen. This exhibition focuses on the diversity of caterpillar heads, which look like real masks!
The Medronheiro’s Butterfly (Charaxes jasius) mask resembles that of a Chinese dragon and the Milk-plant Sphinx has two false eyes to deceive predators! Come and see this informative exhibition and participate in the nature activities prepared for you.
