Theater | Takumi and Plastic, at the King Carlos Museum of the Sea
Two scientists think they are at a conference on astronomy and gastronomy, until they realize that this is not the subject they are discussing at the moment.
They discover one, two, more strange elements and something changes in them.
Takumi and a boy tell them a story, one that will be talked about for a long time.
At a time when images, such as the one that serves as the hallmark of this project, exist, take shape, stand out and grow anywhere in the world, we feel an urgency to act on this problem.
We challenged ourselves to intervene by creating a theater show that would challenge the public and motivate them to change: for a plastic-free ocean. ย
The show takes place on June 7, the day of the Municipality of Cascais and the 33rd anniversary of the Museu do Mar Rei D. Carlos.
Takumi and the Plastic is a creation of RUGAS - Associaรงรฃo Cultural, which is part of Envolve-te - Cultural and Educational Service Program.
