Cascais Boogie Chicks 2024
The event takes place from 11 to 13 October on Carcavelos beach, offering three days of intense activity.
On 11 and 12 October, the European Women's Open and Junior Championships will take place. The competition has two major attractions. It will be the second edition of the Junior European Women's Championship and, as it is the only event on the calendar, the European Champion in the Junior category will be crowned in Carcavelos.
Also on the 12th, the final round of the U14 National Training Circuit will take place, where the U14 National Champion will also be crowned.
The Open National Championship will take place on 13 October, the 3rd and penultimate stage of the National Circuit.
The programme includes bodyboard lessons for all levels and ages, giving participants a fantastic opportunity to learn or improve their skills, making the most of the presence of the best national coaches.
In addition to the lessons and the sporting event, during CASCAIS BOOGIE CHICKS 2024 there will also be inspiring talks on the theme of ‘Conversations fuelled by Women and Salt’. With the participation of women who are examples and references both in the world of sport and in other areas, ‘Conversations fuelled by Women and Salt’ aims to share, in a relaxed way, stories of female overcoming, positive and inspiring examples.
In an event exclusively for women, the programme also includes a tag team competition and beach tennis activities.
