“Fidelio meets Haffner”, concert by OCCO
For the first time with the OCCO - Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras, Maestro Wolfram Christ, a highly experienced musician and an outstanding viola player who has worked with the famous conductors of the 20th century and with Karejan and Abado, presents us with an emblematic repertoire.
In addition to Beethoven's challenging overture and Mozart's prestigious and acclaimed “Haffner”, Wolfram Christ has added Glièreno's Concerto for Harp and Orchestra, in the year that marks the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth. On stage, also making her debut with the OCCO, will be harp soloist Beatriz Cortesão, winner of the Young Musician Awards. Not to be missed!
