We have a voice
CLIC - the Local Council for Inclusion in Cascais - is promoting the "We Have a Voice" event, which consists of two participation sessions aimed at people with disabilities who live, study, work or are supported by institutions in the municipality of Cascais, in the hope of hearing their proposals and ideas for an increasingly inclusive intervention in the area.
These sessions will take place on 31 May between 10.30am and 12.30pm at the Carcavelos Parish Community Centre and on 7 June between 10.30am and 12.30pm at the Ibn Mucana School's House of Arts in Alcabideche.
We are guaranteeing all reasonable adaptations to enable the full participation of people with any kind of disability. These measures include interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language, communication mediation services, adapted transport, among other necessary support.
Families and carers will also be heard and involved in this process, with specific sessions designed for them, which will take place simultaneously - on the same days, times and places.
