Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy 2025
Part of the Mirpuri Foundation's Marine Conservation programme and organised in partnership with the Clube Naval de Cascais, the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy marks the calendar of major international regattas, challenging the world's best sailors to compete for the future of the oceans.
The 6th edition of this trophy promotes regattas for the ORC, NHC, J70, SB20, Snipe, Finn and Optimist classes and this year sees the debut of the TP52 high-performance class.
The start of the regattas will be marked by the cannon shot from the Portuguese Navy's Ocean Patrol Vessel, with the fleet of participants prepared on the start line. This memorable festival of the sea ends with an awards ceremony. The winning teams that took part in the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy will receive their prizes, as well as the Mirpuri Foundation Ocean Award and the coveted perpetual trophy.
The Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy aims to be one of the most sustainable in the world, with no plastic and careful management of the waste generated. A unique event that celebrates the sea, culture, entertainment, sport, the economy and sustainability.
