In 2024, Companhia Paulo Ribeiro began a trilogy, based on different eras, inspired by music, the breath of the times and the sensitivity of its composers.
MAURICE ACCOMPAGNÉ | ADAPTÉ, the first part of the trilogy (2024), focuses on the beginning of the 20th century, crossing the work of Luís de Freitas Branco and Maurice Ravel. A creation that focuses on the spirit of the time, on the creative and expressionist freedom of the roaring 20s. A time of all possibilities, in the discovery of the essence of life, through the ritualistic relationship with the body that transcends itself.
Paulo Ribeiro crosses different realities and geographies and recalls how music and the body transcend the moment and irremediably connect us to each other. It is clearly through the body and music that we are all connected, beyond the banality and foam of the days.
