Description

In the lecture Ocean: is the future acidic? we'll talk about the increasing acidity of ocean waters, a global problem affecting marine life.ย
Researcher and professor Paula Sobral will remind us of some basic concepts of the acidification process, highlighting the causes and the main impacts on biodiversity.ย
Ocean acidification has consequences for the functioning of ecosystems that translate into socio-economic impacts. What measures can be taken to mitigate it? What future for the ocean in the face of pressure from human activity? These are some of the questions we are trying to answer.
