ONCE UPON A TIME IN ESTORIL Staged visit by TEC
The exhibition “The Invention of Estoril: History in Photography”, at Casa Sommer, presents a selection of photographs from the Hotel Palácio's collection of 2,005 previously unpublished gelatin glass negatives. Men, women and children, anonymous or famous and from different backgrounds, are the protagonists of these images taken between 1914 and 1955 that attest to Estoril's rise as an internationally renowned tourist destination.
In this very special visit, in which actors and actresses from the Teatro Experimental de Cascais will bring to life many of the people portrayed in the images in this exhibition, participants will have a unique experience that will transport them to some of the most remarkable episodes in the history of this cosmopolitan Estoril.
