Sugar-free desserts workshop by chef Julia Seraya
About the workshop:
In this gastronomic workshop you'll learn how to cook desserts with greater nutritional benefit by reducing the amount of sugar.
We'll talk about what sugar is, how it's harmful and how it can and should be replaced. You will also learn how to use sugar substitutes without compromising the result of your recipes.
About the Chef:
Julia Seraya is an enthusiastic pastry chef from Ukraine. She started out as an entrepreneur making cakes and desserts, and created her own brand - Serayapechet. While taking orders, Julia learnt and perfected baking techniques as well as the art of decoration.
Her engineering background combined with her passion for creating led her to win the All-Ukrainian Chef Competition.
Working in a 5-star hotel taught Julia how to meet the demands of her clients, even using modern techniques such as molecular gastronomy.
Julia Seraya is currently resident chef at the Cascais Food Lab!
