Lecture ‘Human intelligence and artificial intelligence’
This talk looks at intelligence from the perspective of logosophy, emphasising it as the ‘highest faculty’, essential for the intellectual, moral and spiritual development of human beings. Intelligence must be consciously developed in order to discover not only scientific advances, but also the divine potential that lies within each human being. When well organised, it operates in an effective and integrated way, promoting evolution and personal growth.
The lecture also explores the logosophical experimental method for developing intelligence from childhood to adulthood, analysing its impact on human life. It also offers a comparison between human intelligence and artificial intelligence, highlighting the latter's relevance in the technical, scientific and business fields.
Speakers: Prof Dr Aucyone Augusto da Silva, Lecturer in Logosophy, PhD in Nuclear Engineering from The University of Tennessee, USA, and Thiago Ferreira, Lecturer in Logosophy, Member of the European Logosophy Association, PhD in Computer Science.
