The May Festival 2026
Quinta do Pisão is set to host the 8th edition of the Festa dos Maios. A festival inspired by the ancestral and rural traditions of Cascais, celebrating spring!
The festival programme includes nature walks, workshops, demonstrations and plenty of entertainment with theatre and music.
There will be no shortage of donkey and horse rides, horse-drawn carriage rides and traditional games. You can also visit the Saloio market and relax in the food court.
Take the M44 bus. Check here for the timetable, which has been increased for these days.

*Entry to the event is free, but places on the “Experiences” are limited and cost €3 per participant.
The proceeds will go towards tree planting at Quinta do Pisão, and all registered participants will be contacted at a later date to take part in the planting initiative.
** Horse-drawn carriage rides – 3 rides per hour with a limit of 5 participants per ride.
