II CPLP Energy Conference
The 2nd CPLP Energy Conference, to be held on 27 and 28 May 2025 at the Estoril Congress Centre in Cascais, Portugal, under the slogan ‘Driving a Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Transition for the CPLP’, is promoted by the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe, under the Presidency-in-Office of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), and has the institutional support of the CPLP and Portugal's Ministry of Environment and Energy. The organisation is the responsibility of the Energy and Climate Thematic Committee of the CPLP Consultative Observers, coordinated by ALER - Associação Lusófona de Energias Renováveis (Lusophone Renewable Energy Association) and sub-coordinated by RELOP - Associação de Reguladores de Energia dos Países de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (Association of Energy Regulators of Portuguese-Speaking Countries), in partnership with Cascais Municipal Council (CM Cascais) and the Portuguese Energy Agency (ADENE).
The 2nd CPLP Energy Conference will be a meeting point for government officials, financiers, businesspeople and experts, a stage for publicising the latest developments and anchor projects for energy transitions in each member country, and a business and networking forum to bring together the various players operating in the CPLP area and promote new partnerships and investment and financing opportunities.
