Cascais celebrates European Night and International Museum Day
Visits, shows, performances, workshops, interactive animations, walks through the town
The D. Luís I Foundation and Cascais Municipal Council are presenting a wide range of activities for all audiences in the museums and cultural spaces of the municipality, in association with the celebrations of International Museum Day, celebrated annually on May 18 since 1977, a global event that highlights the transformative role of museums in society.
In Cascais, the activities begin on Saturday, May 17, with the European Night of Museums and continue until May 25. Participation is free and admission is free to all cultural facilities in the municipality over the weekend of May 17 and 18.
