"Coral Change - Coral em Mudança", at the King Carlos Museum of the Sea
The exhibition Coral Change presents a blend of art and science exploring change in shapes and colours of reef corals. The scientists contributed narratives and images of coral reefs changing as they are destroyed and then recover from disturbances like storms and heatwaves. The ceramic artist built imaginary organisms inspired by these stories and images. The outcome is a conversation between ceramic sculptures and digital images that reflects constant change.
