Galeão do Sal “Estou Para Ver” tours
The sailing trips aboard the Galeão do Sal Estou Para Ver are back, as part of the Bairro dos Museus cultural program.
The Galleon sails along the municipality's waters towards the Guia Lighthouse or towards the nature reserve area of Praia das Avencas, offering a privileged view of the coastline.
Throughout the tour, participants learn about the times of purse seining and salt transportation.
During these outings, it is possible to take part in steering and navigational maneuvers, from hoisting the sails to capsizing.
The activities are dependent on weather and safety conditions and are subject to cancellation or change.
The activity is free, but registration is compulsory.
Minimum weight for participants: 12kg.
Each household may register a maximum of 5 people.
