“On the Edge of Time”, by Companhia Paulo Ribeiro
The D. Luís I Foundation, with the support of Cascais City Council, and the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic are joining in the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Paulo Ribeiro Company. On June 24, 25 and 26, the Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, the Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães and the Palácio da Cidadela de Cascais will host the performance À Margem do Tempo, a project dedicated to Cascais.
Companhia Paulo Ribeiro celebrates three decades of dance, encounters, dialogues and intersecting stories. A project that started from an individual dream and, over time, has been transformed into a collective, creative reality, in constant and restless movement.
On June 24, 25 and 26, Companhia Paulo Ribeiro will present site-specific performances in three of the most emblematic cultural venues in the town of Cascais - Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães and Palácio da Cidadela de Cascais, designed in open dialog with the works on display, the architecture and the artistic heritage of each of these places.
The sessions are integrated into the visits to the respective museums, each lasting approximately 15 minutes and with a maximum capacity of 20 people.
Companhia Paulo Ribeiro is funded by the Portuguese Republic/Direção-Geral das Artes, with the support of Cascais Town Council and the D. Luís I Foundation.
