Rewilding Rivers – River Monitoring
Description
Join us for the first step in rewilding – observing and exploring the streams of Quinta do Pisão! Learn about the river ecosystem and how to assess and monitor its health.
This monitoring activity includes identifying riverbank vegetation, assessing water quality, and observing macroinvertebrates. Finally, you will learn about rewilding actions that can help improve the river’s condition.
Target Audience: Children and young people aged 11 and up
