Exhibition “Soldiers of Peace: History(ies) of the Firefighters of the Municipality of Cascais”

The firefighters of the municipality of Cascais, driven by a deep sense of mission, have been able to adapt to the challenges of the times since the distant year of 1888. Their memory is preserved in pieces from public and private collections presented in this exhibition dedicated to the history of the five fire departments operating in the municipality.
The exhibition Soldiers of Peace is dedicated to the firefighters of Cascais, Carcavelos and S. Domingos de Rana, Estoril, Parede, and Alcabideche, revisiting the key moments in a history marked by the courage, solidarity, dedication to the community, and resilience of these heroes of ours!
