Em Cena | D. Luís, o Homem e a Obra
Step back in time to the childhood of King Luís I of Portugal (1838–1889), the monarch who made Cascais his summer retreat and helped turn the fishing village into a fashionable seaside resort.
This one-actor show for young audiences follows the future king through his games, lessons and interests, offering a playful, history-based look at the early years of one of the most important figures in Cascais's past.
Written by Luiz Rizo and performed by TEC – Teatro Experimental de Cascais.
A family session for children aged 8 to 12, held in the Music Room (Sala da Música) of the Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães, a seaside mansion that is now a museum. Running time: 45 minutes.
