2nd Lisbon Metropolitan Area Archives Meeting
The Regional Delegation – Lisbon Metropolitan Area of the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Information & Documentation Professionals (BAD), in partnership with Cascais Municipality, presents the 2nd Lisbon Metropolitan Area Archives Meeting.
Bringing together professionals from across the Lisbon Metropolitan Area's 18 municipalities, this event provides a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences on archival practice in a rapidly evolving information landscape.
The programme will explore key issues shaping contemporary archives, including access to information, digital transformation, document digitisation, open access, transparency, cooperation, education, inclusion and creativity. Participants will discuss current policies, best practices and the challenges facing information professionals working in public administration, associations, foundations and other organisations.
