Studio with an Artist | House and Garden Encounter
A painting workshop for families with children aged 6 to 10, held in the garden of Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, the Cascais museum dedicated to the work of painter Paula Rego. The session is part of "Campo em Comum", an artistic residency by Inês Raposo, who is developing her research at the museum throughout October.
The idea behind the workshop is that creativity doesn't only come from an original idea, but also from our encounters with the world around us: places, nature, people and stories. Using painting as their medium, participants explore how to turn what they see into a visual story, blending observation with imagination.
