MARIUP: Cloth dolls Art workshop by Sofia Branco
At the Municipal Library of Cascais - Casa da Horta da Quinta de Santa Clara, we're going to celebrate International Children's Book Day (which is celebrated every year on April 2) with a creative workshop that aims to raise awareness of traditional handicrafts and stimulate creativity in manual skills.
This workshop for families will be an experience that will lead participating children to reflect on the value of manual labor and the importance of creating with their own hands. In this workshop we propose exploring various techniques with simple and accessible materials.
Each participant will have the opportunity to express their individuality and talent by creating and personalizing a rag doll to their liking.
